Welcome to Oppam, operated by Vishappco Private Limited (“Oppam,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our platform and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should refrain from using our services.

Definitions

  • Company: Refers to Vishappco Private Limited, operating under the brand name Oppam.

    User: Refers to you, the individual accessing or using our platform and services.

    Platform: Refers to any mobile application, website, or web links through which you access our services.

    Psychological Wellness Professional: Refers to therapists, wellness advisors, experts, doctors, or consultants authorized by Oppam to provide services.

    Third-Party Services: External services, links, or resources provided by third-party vendors or partners.

Nature of Services

  • Oppam offers psychological wellness services, including but not limited to:
  • Online and face-to-face consultations with Psychological Wellness Professionals.
  • Psychological self-assessments and tests.
  • Workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
  • Self-help tools, content, and programs available on our platform.
  • Private, encrypted messaging with wellness professionals.
  • Participation in forums, blogs, and user-generated content.
  • Notifications and reminders related to appointments and assessments.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our offerings without prior notice.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using any of Oppam’s services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any other policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Oppam.

Eligibility and Registration

To use our platform, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming legally binding contracts under applicable law. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep such information updated. Oppam reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is found to be inaccurate or misleading.

User Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to immediately notify Oppam of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Oppam will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

Services Provided

Oppam provides access to licensed Psychological Wellness Professionals and other mental health resources. The platform may offer real-time consultations, asynchronous communications, and pre-recorded content for educational purposes. While we strive to connect you with qualified professionals, Oppam does not endorse specific individuals or guarantee the accuracy of their advice.

No Emergency Services

Oppam is not suitable for medical emergencies. If you experience a medical emergency, you should contact emergency services or visit the nearest hospital. Oppam’s services are designed for non-emergency wellness support and educational purposes only.

Fees and Payment

  • Fees for services are detailed on the platform and may vary based on the service selected.
  • Payment must be made in advance for consultations and other paid services.
  • We use third-party payment processors, and by using our services, you agree to their terms and conditions.
  • Oppam reserves the right to change pricing and payment terms at any time, with reasonable notice to users.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Users may cancel or reschedule appointments within the time frame specified on the platform.
  • Refunds are issued at the discretion of Oppam and may be subject to processing fees.
  • Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee as detailed on our cancellation policy.

User Conduct

As a user, you agree to:

  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other users and professionals.
  • Avoid sharing misleading, false, or offensive content.
  • Not engage in any disruptive, harmful, or illegal behavior on the platform.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer or tamper with the platform.
  • Upload or transmit malicious software or content.
  • Use the platform for any commercial purpose without Oppam’s written consent.

All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software on the platform, is owned by or licensed to Oppam and protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content may violate these laws.

Your use of the platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using our services, you consent to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

  • Any content or conduct of any third party on the platform.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for services rendered.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Oppam, its affiliates, and employees harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the platform.
  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Infringement of any rights of a third party.

Termination of Services

Oppam may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, and any accrued obligations will survive termination.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in India and proceedings conducted in English.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to users via email or platform notifications. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.

Scam and Fraud Policy

OPPAM is committed to providing a safe, ethical, and respectful space for mental health support. To ensure the integrity of our services and protect our therapists, clients, and community members, the following Scam and Fraud Policy outlines prohibited behaviors, consequences of policy violations, and our stance on non-refundable sessions.

1. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited while using OPPAM services:

a. Sexually Explicit or Inappropriate Behavior

Clients are expected to maintain respectful and professional communication with therapists at all times. Any form of sexually explicit, suggestive, or uncomfortable behavior—including but not limited to:
  •  Unsolicited sexual comments or advances
  • Lewd language or gestures
  •  Sexual roleplay or inappropriate disclosures
  • Any form of harassment that causes discomfort or distress
will result in immediate session termination and potential banning from the platform. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.

b. Disrespectful or Boundary-Violating Behavior

  • Verbal abuse or aggressive language toward the therapist
  • Disrespecting time boundaries (e.g., late-night messages, pressuring
    outside-platform contact)
  • Gaslighting, manipulation, or coercive behavior
  • Demanding personal or unethical involvement from the therapist
OPPAM has zero tolerance for emotional abuse or violation of psychological safety. In such incidents, the therapist has full discretion to end the session. No refund will be issued for sessions ended due to client misconduct.

2. Payment Fraud and Scam Activities

OPPAM strictly prohibits and legally pursues the following:

  • Chargeback fraud (disputing payments after receiving services)
  • Fake transaction confirmations or screenshots
  • Use of stolen payment methods or unauthorized financial accounts
  • Attempting to bargain after booking or forcing free/extra sessions
  • Disguising the reason for booking a session with misleading intentions
All financial frauds will be reported to authorities and legal action will be taken in accordance with applicable laws. OPPAM reserves the right to suspend or permanently block users involved in such acts.

3. False Booking and Misuse of Platform

Clients who:

  • Book sessions with false identities
  • Misuse sessions for purposes unrelated to therapy
  • Book with the intention of harassment, recording without consent, or data extraction
  • Pretend to be someone else (identity theft or impersonation)
will be blacklisted from the platform and barred from further engagement. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for any such session.

4. Refund Policy Related to Misconduct

OPPAM ensures that all clients receive the service they book, but in cases of misconduct or ethical boundary violations by the client, refunds will not be processed. This includes:
  • Session terminated due to sexually inappropriate behavior
  • Session terminated due to abusive or unsafe conduct
  • Misuse of booking for reasons outside therapy
  • Late arrivals beyond the therapist’s acceptable time window (as per our cancellation
    policy)
Refunds are only considered if the issue originates from OPPAM or the therapist’s end.

5. Reporting and Investigation Process

Any complaints or concerns regarding misconduct can be reported to: [email protected]
Reports are reviewed by our Internal Ethics & Safety Committee within 3–5 business days. Strict confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process. Appropriate action will be taken, which may include:
  • Session cancellation
  • Client suspension or blacklisting
  • Legal steps, depending on the severity

6. Legal Enforcement

This policy is enforceable under the Information Technology Act (India) and relevant laws concerning digital fraud, harassment, and ethical practice. All users agree to this policy upon booking a session or engaging with OPPAM services.

7. Consent and Agreement

By using the OPPAM platform, you agree to:

  • Behave respectfully and ethically with all team members
  • Not misuse the platform for fraud, harassment, or unethical intent
  • Accept that violations of this policy will lead to session termination and forfeiture of
    payment
This policy exists to ensure psychological safety, ethical practice, and legal clarity across all interactions on the OPPAM platform.
